BRO. BRAD MARLAR

Student Pastor

Brad Marlar serves as the Student Pastor at Oakland Baptist Church, where he’s been faithfully ministering to students since 2020. With over 25 years of experience in youth ministry, Brad has a deep love for young people and a heart for sharing God’s Word. He is passionate about helping students grow in their relationship with Christ and boldly making Jesus known—both in the community and beyond. One of his greatest joys is leading youth on mission trips, living out the Great Commission by equipping the next generation to share the gospel. Brad and his wife Brooke have been married since 2005 and are the proud parents of three daughters: Maddi, Aubrey, and Rylee, who now lives in her Heavenly Home. His life and ministry are rooted in the hope of Christ and a desire to see students transformed by the truth of the gospel.
